Dear Parents & Carers,
Update from Mr Perkins
I hope you are all well and dodging the heavy April showers (in May!). We have had some lovely spells of sunshine in between though which is always lovely. Thank you for returning your Parents Evening slips this week. The office staff have been carefully allocating slots today so that your appointments should be as close together as possible. If you haven't managed to get your slip in, please see your child's class teacher to see whether they have any space to give you an appointment.
Your child's teacher will set up your Teams meeting appointment. If you cannot access Teams on a computer, you will be able to access the app on a smartphone as well. Could I ask that you are on time for your appointment as teachers have a very full diary of appointments? Thank you for your cooperation with this.
As can always happen with technology, if something goes wrong and you miss your appointment, please see your child's class teacher to rearrange the appointment at a mutually convenient time.
Also, you may have heard about an accident which happened on Clock Face Road involving one of our former pupils. I have asked teachers to reiterate road safety with the children, but if that message could be reinforced at home, it would be greatly appreciated.

School Health Services
From Wednesday 12th May School Health Services will be in school from 8.30 to 9.30 for any parents to drop in and have a chat if there are any health issues concerning them. Just call into school reception if you would like to speak to someone.
Year 6 Leaver's Hoodies
The order for the Year 6 Leaver's Hoodies will be placed on Monday 17th May. If you would like your child to have one, please return the form to your class teacher Monday morning with the £5 deposit (or full payment if you prefer) Thank you.
Social Media Video
You may be aware that there was a serious road traffic accident on Wednesday, late afternoon, on Clock Face Road. Unfortunately a video is now circulating on social media which is very distressing. Please be aware that your children could access the video and be quite upset by the content.
