Dear Parents & Carers,
Update from Mr Perkins
Hello everyone! I hope you are all keeping well. I can't believe that we are approaching the last week of the half term already - it seems only yesterday that we came back after the Spring Break. Lots of exciting learning going on in school this week. I have been popping into lessons looking at Maths this week - lots of hard work from children and teachers making sure that we have got our number and place value in tip top shape for next year. Well done all!
I hope you all had a productive conversation with your child's teacher about their learning and next steps. I hope the technology worked as well!! I have heard about lots of positive conversations across school and thank you for supporting our approach this term. If you missed or did not make an appointment, you will receive a prompt next week to see whether you would like to make an appointment to see your child's teacher. It is very important that you can talk to your child's teacher so please make an appointment with your child's teacher if you did not have the chance to do so this week.
I am really looking forward to our 'Conquer the Obstacle' day next Friday - it'll be a lovely way to end the half term and thank you once again for supporting this.
Have a lovely weekend.

St Helens Library Service
Most of the libraries in St Helens have now re-opened following easing of lockdown restrictions.
The libraries are currently running a promotion until the end of June where library cards can be replaced free of charge (£4 usually). Fines on overdue books have been abolished and there is no charge to reserve items. The digital library service via Borrowbox and Libby provides access to thousands of books. For more information visit St. Helens Council website.
Perhaps the children would enjoy a visit to the local library over the half-term break?
