Dear Parents & Carers,

Update from Mr Perkins

Hello everyone.  I hope you are all well and you have been able to attend your Parents' Evening virtually this week.  If you have not had the opportunity to make an appointment, please arrange a mutually agreed time with your child's class teacher as it is important you are aware of your child's current learning and their next steps.

You may have noticed some new signs around school this week.  Not all the signs have been installed yet, but they will be soon.  It was decided that we needed a little refresh of the school signs, but we have no intention of changing the school uniform.  We have incorporated the green uniform into the design of the signs as well as the red you can see in school to still capture the Willow Tree colours.

You may have also noticed that our vision and values have been renewed.  Our new values are GAIN - Grow, Achieve, Inspire & Nurture; Our new vision is 'Realise your potential, Recognise your goal, Reach for the stars whilst growing, learning and achieving together'.  Our new vision and values underpin our whole approach to teaching and learning at Willow Tree and what we aim for our children.

Next week will see Miss Barnes leave us for a new and exciting adventure. We also have to say goodbye to Mrs Atherton after many years at Willow Tree. I know you'll join me in wishing Miss Barnes well in her new position and in wishing Mrs Atherton a happy retirement..

I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
