Update from Mr Perkins
Hello everyone, I hope you are all well. How quickly it has passed this half term! Just a few reminders from me this week. Could I ask that you return your data collection sheet as soon as possible if you have not done so already. This will allow us to update our records to ensure we have the most accurate information. Thank you. Could I ask that you ensure the children arrive to school on time? We have had an increase in the number of children arriving late in the last few weeks. This really disrupts their start to the day and means that they miss important learning. Thank you for your support with this.
I know Mrs Lowe wrote to you on Monday to inform you that I will be leaving Willow Tree at Easter to take up a position as an HMI with OfSTED. I will be meeting with Mrs Sweeney over the coming half term to make sure that school is well placed to continue its improvement journey when I leave. Until then, it's business as usual.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a safe, relaxing half term. School reopens on Monday 21st February.

Bikes on Playground
To ensure the safety of everyone, bikes should never be ridden on school premises. Please remind your children to dismount and push their bike to the bike store. There was a very near collision this week and a Nursery child could have been badly injured. Bikes should not be left outside the main school entrance but taken to the bike store.
After School Club and Breakfast Club
If you would like your child to attend either of these clubs they must be booked in to the required sessions on the ParentPay site. Booking system closes on the Friday evening for the following week. Children can not attend the sessions unless they are booked in, this is to ensure we have the correct staffing levels and enough food for all of the children. If there is an unexpected need for your child to attend and you have been unable to book a place please call the school office.
Medication
Any medication to be administered in school must be brought to the office and a medicine permission form completed by the parent/carer. Children are not allowed to carry their own medication.
