The children had a lovely day on Friday, celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. We had a special lunch and played traditional games. They also had chance to interview people who remembered the Coronation in 1952 and ask them what it was like.

As we come to the end of a busy term it has been a joy to see parents and carers back in school for the Year 5 Democracy assembly. The children shared their knowledge of the importance of democracy and liberty and we even had a visit from the Queen herself!

Reception parents spent a lovely afternoon in school, exploring our environment and children sharing what they have been learning.
